Mary Sibley and her daughter Jane were converted in the early days of the Church in Wales. While they were shopping they came upon a street meeting, stopped and listened to the LDS missionaries preaching the gospel. Mary Sibley Davies turned to Jane and said, "This is the truth." They joined the Church in about 1863. Mary later married a Mr. Poole. They had one child, Annie
